Madison & Nathan’s Intimate Family Property Wedding in Country NSW

When the spicy cough upset their original plans and forced them to postpone their wedding 3 times, Madison & Nathan decided they simply couldn’t wait any longer.

Whilst the opportunity to hold a larger celebration with friends and family would come, they chose to bite the bullet and were wed surrounded by their closest loved ones on their family property. And what a beautiful, warm and heartfelt affair it ended up being!

All day, M & N were radiating joy. Even the imminent risk of rain and cooler temperatures on a Spring day couldn’t dampen their spirits. On the contrary, it was as though the extra challenge was just another sign that their relationship was strong enough to weather any storm (pun intended).

Choosing to hold their intimate ceremony amongst nature, M & N’s love and respect for one another was palpable. Standing under century old towering trees, they shared their hand written vows with each other, all whilst never letting go of one another. It was a sight for sore eyes.

A sign of the times, their commitment to one another was witnessed by a select few people, both in person and digitally through zoom. Whilst some key people were missing due to covid restrictions & closed borders — their presence, love and support was felt nonetheless.

And perhaps that’s what made it so special. The exhilaration of finally being able to call each other husband and wife after years of waiting, the many leaps and bounds they have overcome as a couple to get here, combined with the sheer gratitude of being surrounded by family & friends after months of isolation — is what made the entire experience one to remember.

Maddie & Nathan, it was an absolute honour to be there to capture your nuptials. You and your family welcomed me with open arms, made room for me at your table and treated me like a long lost friend. Your kindness and warmth was a gift in the midst of the darkness we’ve all faced these past few years.

I’m humbled to have been the one to immortalise your memories to cherish forever. May these special moments live forever in your hearts. They certainly will for me.

With last year’s lockdown causing states to shut their borders, M & N’s original photographer Coast & Pines couldn’t make it. To say it was an honour to capture this day in their stead would be an understatement. Thank you both for your trust and ongoing support.
