Our Cinematic & Dreamy Urban 11th Anniversary Shoot in Paris, France

Paris will always be known as the city of love — with good reason.

However this didn’t always resonate with me. Having lived there alone for 3 years in high-school during the economic crisis of 2007, my first experience of Paris was cold, harsh and frankly, quite lonely. Hardly the romantic experience most people expect.

However, when I first took George (my then boyfriend, now husband) there during our first ever international trip together as a couple, my opinion changed.

Being there with someone I loved gave me the opportunity to fall in love with Paris all over again. It wasn’t just the food or the general ambience of the place — it was the intimacy of sharing a part of my history, a part of myself with the one I love.

Seeing Paris through George’s eyes is what made me fall in love with it.

Since that trip, we always make a point of coming to Paris whenever we’re in Europe. And whilst we’ve been many times, we never tire of exploring the city of love together.

So on the 29th of August 2022, as the European summer was coming to a close, George and I once again walked the streets of Paris hand in hand. But this time, we kindly asked Anna from Ginger’s Eyes to join us on our walk, and capture our memories through her eyes.

We couldn’t have imagined a better way to commemorate our 11 years together.
